It keeps repeating itself

If we are supposed to study history in order to avoid making the same mistakes, I think some people fell asleep in class...

More on this to come...

Yes, I am pulling a Winzenburg, thank-you.

wow--I never thought someone would say 'pulling a Winzenburg.' I'm honored! I guess of all the things that could be labeled 'pulling a Winzenburg' posting a preview on a blog is about as positive as it could get! Thanks--and I'll keep my eye open for the post!

It is an honor! What have you been up to? I'm still writing the post in my head...it'll get on paper soon.

Keep reflecting--its always good to think it through before posting--I've gotten myself in a bit of trouble at times by just blazing it from my thick skull onto the iNet for everyone to see! Not always the best idea! Well, I've been dragging my way through classes (actually, I love classes, but I think I've lost my attention span for reading! Not good when I've got this whole year left yet!). Theologically, well, the mind's usually tickin', but I've been thinking a bit lately about the difference between what we say we 'believe' theologically (i.e. what we would put a check mark next to on a theology exam), and what we REALLY believe (i.e. what we think about God when no one's watching--or worse when we OURSELVES aren't watching--you know, the whole subconscious thing)! Maybe it'll turn into a blog post eventually, we'll see? What classes are you writing paper's for these days? I've got a NT theology class, Theology of Bonhoeffer class, and a Spiritual Formation class.

Oh, classes. Bane of my existance. Thorn in my side.

Right now, I am extremely unmotivated in my classes. I have recently realized that it is because I have no desire to be on the Masters track that I am on. I need to re-evaluate.

However, to actually answer your question and quit complaining, I am writing for a Facilitating Spritual Formation class at the moment, and doing a terrible job at it. The one bright, glorious spot is that this class gave me an opportunity to read books I have not had the chance yet to read, like Tozer. I have come to appreciate him greatly.

Your Theology of Bonhoeffer class sounds much more appealing at the moment.
